Trimethylbenzene and trimethylbenzene are prepared by distillation with C9 aromatic hydrocarbons as raw materials. trimethylbenzene is mainly used to produce trimellitic anhydride, dyes, epoxy resin curing agent, surfactant, medicine, etc. It can also be used as an extractant for hydrogen peroxide production.
